Ohtani swiped second base in the bottom of the fifth inning in Thursday night’s contest between the Angels and the Oakland Athletics for his 15th stolen base on the year. With this effort, the 27-year-old phenom became the first player in MLB history to have 37-plus home runs and 15 stolen bases before the end of July.
