The El Tigre, Venezuela, slugger launched a career-high three home runs and collected five RBI over the course of his 4-for-4 effort at the plate. Ortega matched a franchise record with his three longballs and became the 43rd Chicago Cubs hitter to accomplish this feat. "I've never had a feeling like I have right now in my career," Ortega said. "But when you have a bad day, I just keep my head up, and I think that's what helped me to be here right now, doing what I know to do."
