New Record: Most Recurring Podium Trio

Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen & Valtteri Bottas set a new record for the most recurring podium trio following the Formula 1 Grande Prêmio de Portugal 2021. This was the 15th time the trio had filled the podium in Formula 1 beating the previous record held by Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel. It followed a rollercoaster race which saw Hamilton claiming his 97th career victory after passing his teammate Bottas and his Championship rival Verstappen.
