The 23-year-old hurler from New Rochelle, New York, fired five innings of one-run ball and struck out a career-high 10 batters. Gray's arsenal of plus-pitches, highlighted by a 96-mph fastball and a wipe-out slider, guided him to 20 swings-and-misses over his 82 pitches.
