Wheelers’ dominant outing was highlighted by a stretch of 22 straight retired batters, becoming the first Phillies pitcher to do so since Roy Halladay’s perfect game on May 29, 2010. “To do that on his day, what can you say?” Wheeler said. “Today was his day; I just tried to pitch like him.”
