The 22-year-old slugger wasted no time and roped a double down the left-field line in his first at-bat. Tatís Jr. would connect for longballs in his next two plate appearances for his eighth multi-homer game of his young career. Fernando would finish the contest 4-for-5 with three runs scored and four total RBI.
