Cal Quantrill led the way for the Cleveland Indians first MLB Little League Classic victory with a brilliant performance on the mound. The Port Hope, Canada, hurler scattered just two hits over seven scoreless innings of work and struck out nine Angels batters. Quantrill’s efforts at Historic Bowman Field led the Indians to a 3-0 victory and cemented the three-game sweep over the Angels. “I think this is a really cool event and just getting to play for all these kids. They took a little time out of their schedule playing games to come watch us play,” Cal explained.
