Miguel Sanó
495-FOOT HR MARKS THE LONGEST OF THE 2021 SEASON
Minnesota Minnesota Twins
In the top of the third inning in the Wednesday night matchup between the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox, Miguel Sanó connected for the longest home run of the 2021 season. The 6-foot-4 first baseman connected on a hanging slider, delivered from Nick Pivetta, and sent it to straightaway center field, and straight out of Fenway Park with an estimated distance traveled of 495 feet. Sanó’s longball also left his bat with a ridiculous exit velocity of 116.7 mph, per Statcast.
