A. J. Pollock

In the back-and-forth thrilling matchup between the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers, A.J. Pollock proved to be the difference maker. After Will Smith's game-tying blast in the top of the eighth inning, the two Clubs were headed into an extra-innings duel. The Dodgers gained a 3-1 lead in the top of the 15th inning, which was ultimately erased by Fernando Tatis Jr.'s two-run blast in the bottom of the frame. The following inning, Pollock launched a go-ahead, two-run homer to take a 5-3 lead. The Dodgers would close it out in the next half frame to win the 16-innings game.
