In the bottom of the fifth inning in Tuesday night’s matchup between the Angels and the New York Yankees, Shohei Ohtani stole home plate to extend the lead to 6-2. Phil Gosselin stole second base and forced a delayed throw from Gary Sanchez. This decision from Sanchez allowed the two-way phenom to dart home, slide in and beat Gio Urshela’s bullet to home. The Angels would go on to defeat the Bronx Bombers, 6-4.
