Lewis Hamilton wins the inaugural Qatar Grand Prix™ and closes the gap to Max Verstappen to 8 points in the Drivers' World Championship. Claiming his second victory in as many weeks, Hamilton looked imperious throughout the weekend taking pole position by the largest qualifying margin of the season so far, before leading the Grand Prix from start to finish. With the points deficit closing on Verstappen, it was a clear statement of pace, control and intent from the seven-time Drivers' World Champion.
