Nick Castellanos led the charge for the Cincinnati Reds offense in the second game of their doubleheader against the St. Louis Cardinals with a historic game at the plate. The Hialeah, Florida, product went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, two longballs and six total RBI. Castellanos got his day started in his first plate appearance with a two-run blast and would follow up with a grand slam in his next at-bat in the very next inning. With this effort, Nick is the first player in franchise history to have six RBI in the first two innings of a contest since RBI became a recognized stat in 1920. The Reds would go on to win, 12-2.
