Looking to stay within striking distance of the second AL Wild Card spot, Marcus Semien and the rest of his Toronto Blue Jays squad were relentless in their 11-10 win over the Oakland Athletics on Friday evening. After a Lourdes Gurriel Jr. grand slam helped knot up the ballgame at 8-8 in the bottom of the eighth, Oakland scored twice in the ninth. That set the stage for Semien, who crushed a three-run home run, his 34th of the season, to complete the comeback.
