Following his brilliant MLB debut on August 30, 2022, A.J. Alexy delivered another great outing in Monday night’s matchup between the Texas Rangers and the Angels. The 23-year-old hurler scattered just one hit over six scoreless innings and struck out seven total batters. With this effort, Alexy became the first pitcher in the Modern Era (since 1901) to fire five-plus shutout innings and allow one hit or fewer in each of his first two professional outings. A.J.’s performance led to the Rangers 4-0 defeat over the Angels.
