Michael Baumann

After being selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the third round of the 2017 MLB Draft and racking up 367 and 2/3 innings pitched in the Minor Leagues, Michael Baumann made his big-league debut in Tuesday night's contest against the Kansas City Royals. The 25-year-old from Mahtomedi, Minnesota, entered the game in the top of the fifth inning to relieve starter, Alexander Wells. Baumann would go on to scatter two hits over three and 2/3 scoreless frames and fan one batter to earn the winning decision.
