Teoscar Hernández and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. led the way for the Toronto Blue Jays in their 22-7 onslaught of the Baltimore Orioles. The tandem combined for two hits, nine runs scored, 12 RBI and both hit grand slams. Gurriel Jr. launched his grand slam in his first at-bat of the contest, taking Zac Lowther deep to right-center field for the round tripper. Hernández belted his grand slam in the top of the third inning, extending the lead to 14-3. With their efforts, the Blue Jays won and leaped the New York Yankees for the second Wild Card spot with less than a month remaining in the season.
