In the bottom of the sixth inning in yesterday's AL East Division matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Tampa Bay Rays, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. clubbed his MLB-leading 45th home run of the year. Guerrero Jr.'s solo-blast came off of a 97-mph fastball, delivered from Adam Conley, and just made it over the left-field wall. With this longball, the Montréal, Canada, product joined Johnny Bench (1970), Eddie Mathews (1953) and Joe DiMaggio (1937) as the only players 22-years-old or younger to launch 45-plus homers in a single season.
