Adolis García swung his way into the franchise record book in the Texas Rangers 8-1 victory over the Houston Astros. The Ciego de Avila, Cuba, product went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored, a homer and two total RBI. García's third inning longball marked his 30th of the 2021 season, tying the Rangers record for most homers in a season by a rookie. The last Texas rookie to club 30 home runs was Pete Incaviglia in 1986.
