Highest finish of Rookie season

Yuki Tsunoda recorded the highest finish of his rookie season, placing fourth at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021. Tsunoda is one of the most exciting young drivers on the grid and produced an excellent performance to take fourth place in an event-filled race. Starting in P8, Tsunoda worked his way up the grid holding off the likes of Bottas and Norris, just missing out on a podium position. It was a great day for AlphaTauri in general with Pierre Gasly finishing fifth, just behind his teammate, to give the team their highest scoring race of the season.
