In the top of the sixth inning in the American League Wild Card matchup between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, Kike Hernandez, Xander Bogaerts and Kevin Plawecki executed a flawless relay to beat a sliding Aaron Judge at the plate. Boston led, 3-1, and Giancarlo Stanton was up to bat with Aaron Judge on first base. Stanton drilled a ball off the top right corner of the Green Monster wall permitting Judge to attempt to score from first base. Two perfect throws from Kike Hernandez and Xander Bogaerts were right on time to nab Judge at the plate.
