Yordan Álvarez led the way for the Houston Astros 6-1 ALDS game one victory over the Chicago White Sox with a great performance at the plate. The 24-year-old from Las Tunas, Cuba, went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a homer, a walk and two total RBI. Álvarez' blast came in the bottom of the fifth inning, as he launched a pitch, delivered from Reynaldo Lopez, and sent it over the right-center-field wall for a solo shot.
