The flamethrower from Baltimore, Maryland, scattered five hits over five scoreless innings, issued no free bases and struck out three batters. With this fantastic performance, McClanahan became the youngest pitcher in MLB history to toss five-plus scores innings with no walks in his first Postseason start (24 years and 162 days old).
