Despite falling to the San Francisco Giants, 1-0, in Game 3 of the NLDS thriller, Max Scherzer put together a brilliant performance on the mound. The eight-time MLB All-Star scattered just three hits over seven innings of one-run ball and fanned 10 batters. With this effort, Scherzer is the first pitcher in Postseason history to record at least one 10-strikeout-plus outing with three different franchises.
