Founded in 1999, the Hank Aaron Award is presented to the top offensive performer in each League. The winners are carefully chosen by a panel of Hall-of-Fame players and an additional fan vote at MLB.com. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was selected as the AL winner, becoming the youngest player at age 22 to win the Award. Guerrero Jr. was tied for the MLB lead in homers (48) and led the AL in OBP (.401) and slugging percentage (.601).
