First 1-2 finish since 2019

Scuderia Ferrari record their first 1-2 result since Singapore, 2019. Charles Leclerc won the FORMULA 1 BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2022, with Carlos Sainz picking up an impressive P2. It was an imposing showing from Scuderia Ferrari, whose speed and consistency in practice and the opening race will send a clear message of intent to the other teams. Leclerc led for much of the race, with Sainz running in third through the latter stages. But, when Verstappen fell from P2 to retirement, it allowed for a relatively comfortable finish for the 1-2. A great day for the Tifosi.
