First points of the season on home soil

Daniel Ricciardo earned his first points of the season on home soil at the FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2022. The Australian had started the race in P7 and, together with teammate Lando Norris, produced a solid showing for the McLaren F1 Team. Ricciardo held off multiple challenges and did a decent job in keeping the pressure on the Mercedes cars in front of him and Norris. In the end, Ricciardo took P6 and eight points at his home Grand Prix to kickstart his 2022 season.
