In Game 1 of the American League Wild Card Series, Jose Ramirez dealt the decisive blow with a game-winning, two-run home run to hand his Cleveland Guardians a one-game lead over the Tampa Bay Rays. The critical longball was belted in the sixth inning off Rays starter Shane McClanahan and was launched over the right-center-field wall, surmounting the Guardians one-run deficit. Predictably, the crowd at Progressive Field erupted in applause and, certainly, hope this is just the start of their Club’s Postseason success.
