Rodriguez made Major League Baseball history with his first three plate appearances, becoming the first player to collect two extra-base hits, with one being a triple, and three runs scored in the first four innings of a Postseason contest. Additionally, he also became the youngest player in Postseason history to record a double and a triple in the same game.
