Goose on the Loose!

The announced crowd of 53,122 at Dodger Stadium for Wednesday evening's Game 2 NLDS matchup between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres might not have accounted for a late-arriving fan. In the bottom of the eighth inning, a Greater white-fronted goose took a seat in shallow right-center, resulting in thunderous cheers from the crowd and becoming a footnote in what was a 5-3 victory for the visiting Padres.
