To say that 26-year-old New York Mets pitcher Tylor Megill has had an incredible start to the 2022 Major League Baseball season would, somehow, still be an understatement. Last night, the rookie right-hander threw for a hitless five innings against the Philadelphia Phillies, kindling what would be his Club’s second no-hitter in their 60-plus-year history. After the game, Megill was excited, but humble, about his impactful performance in this historic contest, which the Mets won 3-0.
