At the tail end of a marathon contest between his Houston Astros and the Seattle Mariners in yesterday's Game 3 of the ALDS, Jeremy Peña put an end to the madness, belting an 18th-inning, game-winning home run. The longball was belted off Mariners hurler Penn Murfee and sent just over the left-center-field wall, producing the contest's only run. In his first Major League Baseball Postseason, Peña is shaping up to be quite the clutch player, a trait he and his teammates hope he carries forward through the ALCS.
