Philadelphia Phillies closer Seranthony Domínguez was called upon on Friday evening to make his second six-out save of the 2022 Postseason – and the 27-year-old right-hander was up for the challenge. Domínguez entered the top of the eighth with a runner on and no outs and shut out the San Diego Padres offense for the final two frames. Allowing just one hit while striking out three, Domínguez became the first Phillies reliever to make a six-out save since Tug McGraw pulled off the feat in Game 6 of the 1980 World Series.
