After his Club's then-unanswered, three-run first inning, Alex Bregman tacked on two insurance runs for his Houston Astros in the fifth inning. Bregman did so by connecting with Philadelphia Phillies hurler Zack Wheeler for a marvelous, two-run blast to left-center field. This was Bregman's sixth World Series home run of his career, marking two more than any other third baseman in Major League Baseball history. Additionally, the homer provided Bregman's Astros with a five-run lead on the way to the Club's eventual victory, 5-2.
