In what was the first World Series win of his Major League Baseball career, Houston Astros left-handed hurler Framber Valdez put on quite the show. Over the course of his six-and-1/3-innings start in last night's Game 2, Valdez allowed just one run and four hits, while striking out an impressive nine Phillies batters. Undoubtedly, Valdez's incredible on-the-mound performance did much to ensure his Astros would leave Game 2 with their series-tying, 5-2 win.
