Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm hit an all-time milestone home run in Game 3 of the World Series against the Houston Astros last night. In the second inning, Bohm punished Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr. with a low-flying, left-field-wall-clearing home run. Incredibly, this solo shot was the 1,000th home run in World Series history. What's more, the home run tacked on a run to give the Phillies a three-run lead, and naturally, played its part in the Club's eventual, 7-0 victory on the night.
