Ryan Pressly

With runners on first and third and only one out in the bottom of the eighth inning, Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker called upon closer Ryan Pressly for what would be his first five-out save of the 2022 season. The 33-year-old shut down the Phillies rally, immediately striking out Brandon Marsh and then getting a great defensive play from Trey Mancini at first to close the inning. Pressly then worked a scoreless ninth to help his Club to victory and gain a 3-2 series lead.
