Colin Moran

In yesterday's contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds first baseman Colin Moran had an incredible performance at the plate, one that earned his Reds the 7-3 win. Moran, who batted seventh in Cincinnati's lineup, homered twice; first, he launched a grand slam in the sixth inning off Pittsburgh hurler Heath Hembree before going long again in the eighth inning to bring two runs in. Moran's performance certainly gave the Cincinnati Reds and their fans something other than Mother's Day to celebrate this Sunday.
