The Toronto Blue Jays made Major League Baseball history by becoming the first Canada-based ballclub to take home a World Series championship. It was a six-game series, and when all was said and done, Blue Jays catcher Pat Borders was crowned the 1992 World Series Most Valuable Player, but key performances from the entire team were needed to secure this historic title. Another notable performer was Joe Carter, who hit a series-leading two home runs.
