Randy Johnson's start to the 2002 season was historic, but his 17-strikeout performance against the Colorado Rockies was certainly the pinnacle. The game was just Johnson's fifth start of the season, and amazingly, resulted in his fifth win. Johnson tallied an astonishing 52 strikeouts in that five-start span.
