Record podium after dominant win

Max Verstappen recorded his 66th podium for Oracle Red Bull Racing – a team record – after winning the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2022. Verstappen was dominant throughout and finished P1 ahead of teammate Sergio Perez after both Scuderia Ferrari’s retired due to mechanical problems. He took his 66th podium for the Austrian team – one more than Sebastian Vettel did. It was also Verstappen’s 25th career win, equalling F1 legends Niki Lauda and Jim Clark’s total which places him ninth on the all-time list. He now leads the Driver Standings by 21 points ahead of Perez.
