During yesterday's meeting between the Miami Marlins and the Colorado Rockies, Marlins outfielder Jesus Sánchez hit the longest home run of the 2022 Major League Baseball season so far. In the second inning of the contest, Sánchez connected with a pitch from Colorado Rockies hurler Ryan Feltner, sending the ball a breathtaking 496 feet. Unfortunately for Sánchez and his Marlins, they didn't take home the victory, but this record-setting longball was quite the consolation prize.
