In yesterday's game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Kansas City Royals, Guardians rookie hurler Konnor Pilkington picked up the first win of his Major League Baseball career. Pilkington threw for five scoreless innings and struck out eight Royals batters in the process. Pilkington had maintained control of the game throughout his five-inning spell on the mound and did much to help his Club take home the victory, 4-0.
