New York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco picked up the sixth win of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign when he threw for five scoreless innings in yesterday's meeting with the Washington Nationals. Not only did Carrasco put on a show for the fans at Citi Field, but Carrasco's father was also in attendance for the first time in his MLB career. Emotions were high, but, evidently, that didn't get in the way of Carrasco, whose tenacious performance helped his Mets to best the Washington Nationals, 5-0.
