The seven-time champ returns to the podium

Lewis Hamilton returned to the podium with a third-place finish in the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2022. It’s been a difficult season for the joint-record world champion but it looks like the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team may have found the car to match Hamilton’s skill. The British driver performed well in qualifying, starting the race in P4 and was optimistic about his podium chances. In the race itself, Hamilton discovered new-found pace. He held off teammate George Russell and Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc to take his second podium of the season. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come and turns around Hamilton’s season.
