Rookie scores highest finish of the season so far

Zhou Guanyu secured his highest finish of the season at the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2022. The Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN man became the first Chinese driver to race in F1 when he joined in January. He enjoyed a great start securing points in his very first race but had not added to that tally until Canada. Zhou was visibly thrilled to reach Q3 of qualifying and then from P10 produced an excellent drive in the main race to cross the line in P9. After the race Fernando Alonso was penalised and Zhou was classified as P8. It is his best performance yet, securing four points.
