In Tuesday night's contest between the Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants, Colorado outfielder Charlie Blackmon was tabbed to pinch-hit in a crucial sixth inning situation. The veteran wouldn't disappoint, crushing a three-run blast out of Oracle Park and into McCovey Cove. This was a monumental homer for Blackmon, as it was his first career "splash hit", his 200th career home run, and all done on the 11th anniversary of his MLB debut. Congrats Charlie!
