Jonathan Aranda

Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Jonathan Aranda made his Major League debut on Friday night and made an impact early in the contest. The 24-year-old from Tijuana, Mexico doubled his Club's 1-0 lead over the Pittsburgh Pirates with an RBI single in the bottom of the second inning. A 2021 MiLB.com Organizational All-Star , Aranda had been hitting .310 with 11 homers and 40 RBI in 63 games with Triple-A Durham upon getting the call-up.
