First pole and another podium

First pole and another podium - F1 TOPPS NOW® Card #48 - PR: 2657

George Russell claimed his first pole position and another podium at the FORMULA 1 MAGYAR NAGYDÍJ 2022. Russell enjoyed a fantastic weekend starting with Saturday's qualifying. He produced incredible times to earn his long-awaited first pole in F1 ahead of reigning champion Max Verstappen and teammate Lewis Hamilton. In the race itself, Russell contested his lead well but could not stay at P1. However, his excellent tyre strategy meant he was able to hold off the challenge of Scuderia Ferrari's Carlos Sainz to take P3 and his sixth podium in F1.
