Tony Oliva's Major League Baseball career was rife with the collection of accolades and passages of milestones; specifically, the Cuban-born superstar outfielder was the 1964 American League Rookie of the Year, was selected for the MLB All-Star Game eight times, and was a three-time batting title winner. His election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame yesterday was a truly incredible moment for Oliva and his beloved Minnesota Twins fans.
