Shohei Ohtani’s on-the-mound hot streak continued through his start in last night’s contest between his Angels and the Texas Rangers. Incredibly, over the course of his six-inning start, Ohtani whiffed an outstanding 11 Rangers batters while walking none of them. This performance marks the sixth consecutive start in which the Japan-born dual-threat has recorded 10 or more strikeouts. Unfortunately, this incredible performance wasn’t enough to lead his Angels to victory, as they lost the contest 2-0.
